Oddiol is the music alias of Eric Dauenhauer.
Oddiol (previously known as "Usual Phase") is a project started in the summer of 2023 when the world was on fire. Blending a love of funk and electronica, Oddiol aims to do nothing more than bring a smile to the face of listeners.
Driven by sonic ardor, Oddiol was created in Austin, TX in a sputtering creative juice. The story of Oddiol is presaged by aural fervor and punctuated by unseemly insights into the psychic influence of sound. The Unlucky Messengers of Melody once described Oddiol as "a revelation," and predicted that the new artist would "transcend any and all things" as they pushed further into their harmonic habitat.
Tinkering with technological toys has always been a hobby for the person or persons behind Oddiol. The Diplomats once described the sound of Oddiol as "squabbling in semi-coherent sentences of musical squalor". One thing is for sure: Oddiol has an artist biography with questionable grammatical choices. They sure be artist to keep eyes glued on.
